At Cupsogue Pictures we aim to develop and produce independent films that entertain our audiences, while maintaining artistic and commercial credibility. In the words of Carl Laemmle "Movies should make you laugh, cry, or sit on the edge of your seat", and that's exactly what we try to do.
Our business model is to produce two pictures per year aimed at two markets;18-25 year-olds & 25-35 year-olds, who together form the bulk of all domestic and international movie-going audiences. Our productions are focussed on minimizing financial risk and realizing profits for our investors. Hence, our property acquisition, production schedule, and our selection of industry skill and talent are all geared toward this model.
In addition to producing our own material, we specialize in producing feature length motion picture productions in partnership with other production companies, which range from television production houses to major motion picture studios. We deal with all aspects of production, from development right through to multi-platform release, including script sourcing/expansion, production rights, location scouting & confirmation, cast & crew acquisition, legal services, and complete in-production support, both on and off set, as well as complete post production packages including editing, dubbing, and film scoring.
